Beelzebub Manga (恶魔奶爸, べるぜバブ) By Tamura Ryuhei

This is the manga I am following right now. Genre of this manga is action, comedy, martial art, school life and supernatural. By the way, this manga is not about ordinary school life. It’s about a strong, ruthless delinquent’s school life. But I don’t think they have much teaching in Ishiyama. All of them are delinquents who fight all day. I haven’t seen any teachers teach in that school except a head master who is mistaken for school garden caretaker. And here is our main character, a delinquent called Oga Tatsumi. Other delinquents nicknamed him “Ogre”, “Demon” or whatsoever. This is because he is really strong. He beats every other delinquent up easily and mercilessly. 

Unfortunately for Oga, he picked up a son of the Great Demon King. The baby chooses him as his father in the human world. Oga needs to raise the baby until he is in age to destroy mankind. Therefore, Oga need to find someone who is stronger and evil than him to get rid of the baby. The baby is not like any ordinary baby. Baby Beel (the Great Demon King’s son), likes extraordinary things. For example, the more evil you are, the more Baby Beel likes you. No wonder Baby Beel attached to Oga like Kola Bear. Just get use to Baby Beel who doesn’t wear any clothes. Baby Beel is just like Pikachu who electrify Oga every time he is upset or Oga is more than 15m away from him. That must be hurt. It’s funny at the same time too.

Beelzebub 03

 [Are there Any Strong, Ruthless Bastard Around?][Tsuyokute kyōbōna yarō imasen ka?][強くて凶暴なヤロー いませんか?]

  Oga Tatsumi is “reminded” by Hilda-san by using high-heels. Hilda-san is telling him to remember to feed Baby Beel on time. Ouch, that must be hurt….>.<

Hilda-san (Seriously): This is 3 portion worth. Don’t forget about it.

Oga (snorted): Hmph! Milk those udders of yours?

Bang!! One high-heel stuck on Oga’s head…..

Hilda-san (annoyed): It is powdered milk for royalty.

Oga (Looking for trouble again): Hmph! So your boobs are all dried up?

Bang!! Another one high-heel stuck on Oga’s head…. I was like o.Olll 

  But, Oga lost that milk on his way to school. He is with Furuichi at the roof of the school building. Oga is desperately looking for the milk inside his bag. Without warning, Bathym de Alaindelon appeared. Furuichi told Oga about his “bizarre” story how Alaindelon living with him now. Here is the case.

(At Furuichi’s home)

Furuichi (panicked): Hold on a minute (Chotto matte!), you showed up out of the blue and what you mean by “so you see”?!

Alaindelon (shy): Even after all that you did, you are still…. (Leaving the words hanging and red-faced)o.Olll

Father, mother and sister (pale-faced and totally shocked): You did (Annokoto)?! Did that (Konnakoto)?! Did what (Sonnakoto)?! (Respectively)

Furuichi (Going crazy): That’s not it!!!DX (Yelling at the top of his voice)

Then….

Alaindelon (Red-faced): I felt it the other day when you were inside of me.

  Actually Alaindelon means that day when he transfers Furuichi to where Oga is, so stop imagine something else*cough!*……… It’s funny to see Furuichi’s family’s expression. All of them look like they are going to die. That still haven’t end yet, Alaindelon is making the matter worse, because he said: You are a man with a hot, burning passion! Yes!

  Well, you can imagine what’s going to happen next. Furuichi’s family definitely not going to let Furuichi got away easily. 

  Of course, Oga is not listening to what Furuichi Takayuki said. He is looking for the milk. Baby Beel is going to “explode” soon. What Alaindelon do next is totally disgusting*yuck*. Can you imagine a muscled guy does THAT?   

 

  Oga never gives up on looking for people who is stronger and evil than him. He got in a fight with Kanzaki, a feared 3^rd year delinquent. As usual, Oga Tatsumi won. Oga is super strong. Don’t worry, that Kanzaki guy didn’t die. This is a comedy anime after all. Normal people won’t survive after the fall…

Beelzebub 02

[I Became a Gang Leader with a Child][Kodure banchou Hajimemashita][子連れ番長 はじめました]

  When Baby Beel, the Demon Lord throws a tantrum, Oga Tatsumi will be the victim. Luckily, he didn’t die^^. What a relief! He will be a dead meat if Baby Beel is more than 15meters away from him. 

Oga Tatsumi is scary, isn’t he? But Baby Beel loves it (“Da!” said Baby Beel).  Baby Beel like everything that no other ordinary children will like. Baby Beel like ugly, horrible looking toys.

  So, this is Baby Beel’s father, the Great Demon Lord. But he never shows his face. I wanted so much to see his face. Is his face scary, handsome or normal? 

   I have seen this school ground keeper before, but I never thought that he is the principal of this school. This anime is really full of surprise and unexpected things. it’s so good to see Oga Tatsumi beat up all those delinquents. 

Beelzebub 01

 [I Picked up a Demon King][Maō hiroimashita][魔王拾いました]

  When I saw this baby for the first time, I am thinking: “what…” Then, in my mind, I don’t think I will like this anime. I am not used to the idea of a baby being naked all the time and there will going to be a flood if he pees. I mean, his huge amount of urine creates the flood. 

  Then, after I watched for a few minutes, I started to like Beelzebub. I described Beelzebub using one word, funny. I thought this green haired baby is just like any ordinary baby. But he let out huge amount of electricity that will kill any ordinary man (in fact, no one get killed in Beelzebub, at least they fainted but not Oga). This baby is the Demon Lord. It’s bad luck for Oga to pick him up. By the way, Oga is a notorious delinquent. 

  Oga did tried to scare him away but failed miserably. You should have seen what kind of face Oga made to scare him away. It’s so funny, in some point, unbelievable. No any human being can make that face, I swear. Pity him and Furuichi when the baby get upset and “electrified” them. Furuichi looks a bit like Zero in Vampire Knight. Their hair colors are alike. Besides, the big guy made me think of General Alex Louis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist. However, the two of them in Beelzebub are of different characters and are in an exaggerated story plot. The big guy split in half, trust me, he really split up symmetrically. He is dimensional transference demon, Alaindelon. Oh, I forgot to mention, the cute music made the whole things even funnier. If not, lighten up your mood.           

  The people in this snapshot here are Oga, Baby Beelzebub, Furuichi and demon Hildegrade. Hilda-san told them that Baby Beelzebub come to human world to destroy human and that he need a human vessel to release his power. Oga has been chosen as the human vessel and as Demon’s father. 

  Almost at the end of the first episode, it seems like Baby Beelzebub really attached to Oga. He cries and “electrified” all people when one drop of Oga’s blood dropped onto his face. Honestly, in the end, I think Baby Beel is kind of cute and Oga looks kind of cool. I know he is a bit of an idiot, but he is really funny. It would be better if Baby Beel wears clothes.
